They were extremely professional and upfront, which was appreciated after having dealt with a different place/mechanic first. G &M ended up saving me both a big headache and a lot of money. In the end I decided to sell them the car for a fair and reasonable price. All in all, it was an excellent experience.

Never thought I'd ever find an auto shop that would get more than 3 stars from me. Now I'm honestly glad that the place I used to go to decided to piss me off the last few times I went there. G&M has the best and friendliest employees, lower prices on far superior parts, and they actually get the job done when they say they will! Imagine that! Give them a try, you will be glad you did!

Once again the guys John and his men lubed and checked out my 2004 Toyota Camry at the price quoted and returned the car within an hour as quoted. They keep my car running like a top. Who needs a new car when I have GM Auto there to keep mine like new?

Prices are robbery! Seriously! I have never heard of a $600 brake job! On an economy car no less!

Katie, I am sorry you had a bad experience with us. You came in with the brakes metal to metal grinding, we checked the brakes and advised that you needed brake pads, brake rotors/disc's, And exchange the brake fluid because the brake system had been overheated, now all this came to 479.97+tax and it is not a 600.00 brake job. Luckily you had not gone into the calipers and caused anymore damage. We also checked your brakes and performed an entire courtesy inspection, we then advised you on the needed repairs to your vehicle. We take great pride in doing what we do, and we stand behind our work for 3 years or 36,000 miles and we only use factory parts, in your case since your brother is a tow truck driver we have dealt with many times we gave you an additional special price and offered to take care of it that day(even though we were extremely busy).

My 2011 Jeep needed various repairs. I needed new brake pads, new rear shocks, two new radiator hoses, and I had another leak elsewhere. I took it to G&M and I couldn't have been happier with the service. From the minute I walked into the office I was greeted with a smile and a good morning. All of the repairs and issues were explained to me in great detail and I felt no pressure to get them fixed at once at this particular shop. When I decided to get my repairs done with G&M I was given a ride to and from the shop on two different occasions by various mechanics. (We also live pretty close) This was awesome and saved me money and frustration since I only have one car. Every mechanic was super friendly and well mannered. I really get a genuine and honest vibe from this shop. The pricing for all of the work I needed was fair and cheaper than other mechanics in the area. I'm relatively new to Santa Clarita so I will be sticking with G&M as my regular go to from now on. I highly recommend them and will recommend them to anyone who needs a good mechanic/shop in the future. Thanks!

I got a nail in one of my tires today. I came to G&M Auto Repair for the first time today to pull the nail out and patch the tire. They had good customer service and were quick. I'll probably bring my car back here for other services.

It's about time Canyon Country has a great auto repair shop with great prices. I have been bringing my car here for awhile. The service and staff are both amazing. The prices can't be beat. Everything is done in a timely manner. They stand by there work and you will never be disappointed. I highly recommend this place. There work is high quality with amazing prices. Can't be beat.

This shop has pleasant and knowledgeable employees who can handle most jobs. Be aware, though, that no matter the expertise of any specific shop, there may be things that can only be done by a dealer. I brought my hybrid in because there was sometimes a delay when I stepped on the accelerator. G&M kept my car for two days and couldn't solve the problem (I paid them $100 for their efforts). I was told the only solution was to get a used (rebuilt) transmission for $6,000 including labor. I said, "No, thanks," and took my car to the Hyundai dealer. They did a software update for free and my problem was solved. I'm still giving three stars because ultimately a consumer has to use their best judgment. This is an honest shop that faced a challenge they couldn't beat. I wish they had simply told me they couldn't solve it and sent me to the dealer, but at least I made the right choice.

John is probably the most honest mechanic in Santa Clarita! I took my truck in because the suspension was squeaking. He told me the leaf springs needed to be replaced. He called SCV Frontier Toyota who informed him my truck had a recall for new leaf springs. John told me to take it to Frontier and they'd replace it free of charge. My family has gone to them for their last couple trips to the mechanic, and G&M Auto is so much more reasonably priced than previous mechanics. Also, the rest of the crew there is incredibly helpful and friendly! John takes care of his customers and is a man of integrity!
